Born in Offenbach am Main, she studied film and media aesthetics in Mainz. For her thesis with an enlargement of Walter Benjamin’s aura term in the contemporary atmospheric term of the new phenomenology, she received a promotion for young talents in Rhineland-Palatinate. This was followed by a master’s degree at the Goethe-University Frankfurt am Main in the field of theatre-, film-, and media studies and work as an editorial assistant for goEast – Festival of central and eastern European Films, Wiesbaden.
Since 2018, she has been a member of the German Society for Aesthetics, a member of the Association of German Film Critics (VdFk) and has also been a part of the FIPRESCI since 2020. Committed to promoting a contemporary avant-garde film, she writes for the public perception of human nature.
